Fall Drive

If you hear California you wouldn't easily associate it with fall colors. You would think of palm trees and giant sequioas. But we do have some fall colors too.
God willing and schedule permitting, hubs and I drive 200 miles every year to Plumas County where the colors of fall burst into a kaleidoscope of yellow, reds, and browns. It's a glorious drive.
Plumas County, California. October 2007.

  1. We do have some beautiful fall colors, don't we. Lovely shot and the dogwood as well. Dogwood as much as the falls draws us to Yosemite each sping.
Thanks for your comments on Michael's world.

  2. California, SF, I think of the giant crabs at fisherman's wharf. Next time I go, I take a bottle of chilli sauce.

Thanks for visiting. It is still freezing, and a 2 year old girl is lost.
