Nuremberg's old town in Bavaria, Germany is surrounded by thick walls. Built between 12th and 16th centuries they run for 5 kilometers (about 4 kilometers still standing) around the old town. We were able to go up the fortress during our last visit. These were taken on our way to Fürth, the walled city reminds me of home too; Intramuros in Manila is also a walled city.
Mucha historia en estas imágenes¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteEfectivamente tengo un teleobjetivo y el avión también estaba muy cerca.

What great pictures... I would love to visit Germany sometime... I studied German in college --but don't remember much of it at all now... Bet that Nurnberg wall is awesome to see. Interesting that it reminded you of your home, also a walled city... That's neat!!! Thanks for sharing.

Please take out your word verification. They are so hard to read. Thanks!
I always love visiting Intramuros. Beautiful photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that Nurnberg had a walled old city. I really like both of your photos.
