A different ride!

A different take on driving by...

"This was taken at Disneyland Anaheim on April 5, 2009, on "board" the little boat on "It's a Small World". The camera was set at auto, and this was not altered except for the image size. I say this is a challenging shot because it was so dark inside and there was motion because of the water's current."

Respect

"I am attaching a road image I took recently while driving my 18-wheeler through California.

The image is titled "Respect" and was taken through my front windshield with a manual focus set to infinity."

From Paul Tarin, a known Drive By photographer over at JPG mag.

Deutschland oder Frankreich

DSCF355

Today's photo is a contribution from Bryan.

Photo taken on July 29, 2008 (sorry, really late) from a train somewhere between Metz, France and Flughafen Frankfurt am Main, the main airport in Frankfurt, Germany.

Bryan wrote, "This was the last day I would see the sun in Europe as my summer semester studying abroad came to an end. I'm shooting through a window, so the camera is partially visible over on the left. Judging by the white strips I think I might be stopped in or going through an uncovered train station. I'd originally hoped to catch the sun setting to parallel the ending of my travels in Europe, but unfortunately, the timing was not right."

I would disagree as I find this photo almost as though too sad for goodbyes...

Thanks Bryan!
