"This was taken at Disneyland Anaheim on April 5, 2009, on "board" the little boat on "It's a Small World". The camera was set at auto, and this was not altered except for the image size. I say this is a challenging shot because it was so dark inside and there was motion because of the water's current."

"I am attaching a road image I took recently while driving my 18-wheeler through California.
The image is titled "Respect" and was taken through my front windshield with a manual focus set to infinity."
From Paul Tarin, a known Drive By photographer over at JPG mag.

Today's photo is a contribution from Bryan.
Bryan wrote, "This was the last day I would see the sun in Europe as my summer semester studying abroad came to an end. I'm shooting through a window, so the camera is partially visible over on the left. Judging by the white strips I think I might be stopped in or going through an uncovered train station. I'd originally hoped to catch the sun setting to parallel the ending of my travels in Europe, but unfortunately, the timing was not right."
I would disagree as I find this photo almost as though too sad for goodbyes...

It rained a little that day just when we have arrived at the airport...but when we were on the bridge, the rain stopped. Upon seeing the Flyer, my two older kids shouted "Prater!" referring to the big Ferris wheel in Vienna. lol.

Today's theme for Unique exposures is Roadside Scenery. Since this blog is all about shots taken in a moving vehicle, I thought any of the fotos we have compiled would be perfect. However, I chose this one as it is not actually a road but still on the side of the vehicle.
The Danube still as always featured.
A post for Unique Exposures.

Taken on my way home, its not a frozen lake anymore. This is part of the Old Danube reserve, remained of what the whole lake was before the construction of the newer dam to prevent flooding. To see the New Danube, click here.

No, not really. The tower is far from the lakeside...Notice that the water was frozen that the tower got reflected clearly (almost). :-)
Taken from the train.

Hello everyone. My name is Maria, aka Photo Cache, and I blog here. I was invited by the owner of this blog, G, to make contributions. And I gladly accepted. Because like her I am a drive by shooter, long before the term was coined.
For this post I am sharing with you a traffic jam in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh. The streets of Dhaka are filled with this manpowered rickshaw (or ricksha as known in Dhaka) one of the main forms of transportation. I was riding in one when I snapped this shot.

Photo comes from Soulbrush. She took this shot on her way to the airport (heading to South Africa then). She left a beautiful souvenir before doing so...

Drive By Photography is a blog for shots taken while inside a train, bus, car or tram (moving or not) (Drive by). It is a challenging task as the glasses and movement gives the photos a little kick.
Everyone is welcome too to contribute their own 'drive by' shots. Please email photos, including name, url, date photo is taken and the story behind the photo to mirage2g(at)gmail.com.
Send one now and have your link placed on the Contributor's page. Thanks!
