Driving thru' Main Street

Virginia City, Nevada was a boom town during the Silver Strike days. Nowadays, it's a tourist destination, located a short distance from Reno, Nevada.

  1. It's funny how I don't see much dangling electric wires in bigger cities anymore.

  3. You would never know how fast time changes. Some have changed to prosperity while others are going backward. Thanks for the visit.

  5. Thanks for visiting Astoria, Oregon, Daily Photo and leaving a comment (Deja Vu page). I take so many of my photos on the fly, either walking or from vehicles that I really appreciate your concept! You know, the light turns green, your partner starts hustling across the street, and you just saw the pic to want? And now I have 100 pix with his backpack in them! I wonder if drive-by photos will become a genre in itself if it isn't one already? I'll be back!
